Life changing

 

911 - Our country was changed because we always felt secure as Americans and that nothing would every happen to us in the US.  It was a tragedy for the country and especially for the families of the victims.

 

Electricity - The invention of electricitymakes our lives so much easier.  We don't realize that when we turn on a light, make something in the microwave or oven, watch television, and many many other things. It is second nature for us to turn on a light switch but before electricity things were much different and harder than we could ever imagine.

 

Car- The invention of the car is also an invention that changed American's lives.  It made it easier to get from one place to another and a lot quicker.  If you lived before cars, you had to walk everywhere and couldn't go long distances.

 

Cell Phone - The cell phone also makes life much simpler.  At one point we didn't have the convenience of being in touch with people when traveling or in case of an emergency. Today, everyone has a cell phone.

 

Internet - The invention of the internet is a life saver and life changing for many people today.  Information is available at your fingertips instead of having to drive to the library or look up information in a book.  I can't imagine life without "google" and all of the social websites.

 

Jesus - The crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus was life changing because he gave us life and makes life important.

 

World War II - WWII was life changing because so many soldiers died for our country or else we would not be here today in the "free" world.  We would be ruled with leaders like Hitler who was ruthless and cruel.
